Prom will be held on Saturday, May 6 at the Springfield Marriott from 6:00 pm-11:00 pm. The theme has officially announced by the Class of 2018 as “A Night In Paris.” Along with the day comes preparations— the ticket, the food order, and the seating arrangements.

From March 13 to 24, the Class of 2018 will be outside of the cafeteria during all three lunches to sell tickets. According to class advisor Kerry Valentine, the prom ticket price will be $78 a person. Seating arrangements will be decided based on when tickets are purchased.

“Each table will seat ten people,” says Valentine. “If a group of people wants to be seated together, they should all purchase their tickets on the same day as well as let us know who they want to be seated with.”

While buying their tickets, students will have to pick between chicken florentine, sliced sirloin, or cumin salmon as their entrée. There are also vegetarian and vegan options available upon request.

Although not many details about the evening have been released yet, Valentine did mention that there will be both a DJ and photo booth for students to enjoy.
