Jake will be attending UMass Amherst in the fall with an indecisive major between something in engineering or computer science. Jake has been wanting to go to UMass for a while now, and when he was recruited by the track and XC coach he knew it was a done deal that he would choose UMass as the place to be for at least the next four years of his life. As Jake looks back at his time at LHS and everything he will leave behind he really thinks about a couple of the teachers that have influenced him in a positive way, the sports teams he’s played on for four years, and the respective coaches that came along with each sport. He especially will miss  seeing all his friends every single day. However, Jake looks forward to what college will bring for him as now he will really be living on his own, and he’ll get to experience what it is like to be a real grown up.
