The Spanish Club kicked off its first meeting of the year with coffee, snacks, and chit-chat about the Spanish culture.
At the first meeting, members discussed various trips that they would like to go on during this school year. The Spanish Club hopes to travel to New York, Boston, and Hartford for numerous museum visits and dance performances. Along with field trips, the club is also expecting to invite various guest speakers to speak at this years meetings.
Karolina Kopczyski, the advisor of the Spanish Club, said that Spanish Club is a universal club and most anyone can join.
The club receives new members all the time, and the count is 56 (at time of publishing). Kopczyski assures that a background in the language is, “not at all [required]! The club is open to anyone that is interested!”
