Emilia Alves, Editor-in-chief
Emilia Alves. A name you will look up in 20 years to find articles from publications such as The New York Times or Rolling Stone. Alves is a part of the class of 2026 and is excited to start her second year writing for The Cub as the Editor-in-chief. She likes to–often unwarranted–share her opinions with others and plans to write about it in The Cub this year. Outside of school and The Cub, she enjoys making art, playing guitar with her band, writing in her many journals, and listening to her extensive vinyl collection. Along with The Cub, Alves also writes for Ludlow’s local paper, The Register. In the future, she hopes to move to New York and pursue journalism and write books.
