Come out to a charity softball game this Saturday
May 9, 2018
I want to encourage the Ludlow community to come out to a charity slow pitch softball game played by the Ludlow baseball and softball teams to honor Nate Carreira. This event will be held on Saturday, May 12 on the LHS JV baseball field at 1 p.m.
To get into the event all you have to do is have a “smile and warm harm.”Donations will also be accepted for a LHS scholarship in Nate’s name.
This event was created by Justin Debarge, Julia Annecharico, and me. We originally planned this event for the Parkland shooting victims, but after this recent tragedy in our own town happened we decided to change it to honor Nate
Nate was a football player and also played youth baseball for Ludlow, so to have both teams play for him is the best option to remember who Nate was.
Bracelets will be at the front entrance to anyone who wants one. The bracelets will be orange and have “In Remembrance” written on them.
