Next Monday, April 14, the juniors were set to travel to Boston on their annual field trip, but sadly due to not meeting the sign up requirement of 100 people, it was cancelled. As I am a junior myself, I know that my friends and I were looking forward to having the opportunity to miss school and have fun on Newbury street.
Promised, was a trip to the state house, for the educational bit, and later, shopping on Newbury street which contains a multitude of different shops and food places.
For the past week, class officers and representatives have been urging students to sign up for the field trip, amassing over 20 sign-ups in just a few days. However, this feat has proven fruitless due to the fact that there were still around 30 spots remaining at the end of the day today.
For those who did sign up, information about refunds is coming soon, and they will likely be issued through Go Fan.
I only hope that this is somehow amended with an extraordinary field trip next year.
