“If you could switch bodies with anyone else for a day, who would you switch with?” This was the question I posed to 16 people at Ludlow High School, and here are the answers:
Freshman Ella Bellville was the first person I asked. She said she would switch bodies with a mortician to see if she really wanted to become one. This answer was more on the intellectual side, but I wanted something fun. So, I kept asking around.
Sophomore Manahil (LOSER) Atif responded “I would switch lives with someone who worked at SEGA and make sure to get another game for Shadow the Hedgehog.” As if she wasn’t already Sonic crazy enough…
Lily Moore’s response was a little unhinged. She replied “I’m thinking probably the Rock because I wanna know how it feels to be that strong. Also, I wanna be like, that handsome.”
Junior Liam Richter said he would switch bodies with “Elon Musk and in the last 3 seconds of the day, jump off a really tall building.” No comment, Liam. (This answer was my personal fav).
Isabella Leutsch would become “Someone really f-ing rich,” for a day, “so I can transfer all their money to me.”
Adam Riley would switch with Ryan Renolds solely because “He’s rich.¨”Apparently, a lot of people at LHS are at least a little hungry for some money.
A wholesome answer by Sofia Marques answered “Honestly, I´d switch with Madison Beer to have her confidence and to live life to the fullest like she does.”
Caitlyn Peczka would do something similar. She responded to my question, “Some rich person,” and after a moment of thought, “I would wanna be like Sabrina Carpenter, because she’s pretty, rich, and can sing.” That´s that me espresso!
“I would switch bodies with Mrs Nemeth and ban rules.” Simon Oski responded.
Elina Wright wants to switch with Taylor Swift to see her life and “Know how her relationship with Travis is going.” This was an answer I honestly thought I´d get more of, but it seems only Elina would dare to be Taylor Swift for a day.
Emilia Alves responded, “I would switch bodies with Mr. Smith and raise my art grade.” This was by far the most relatable response I got.
Liberty Carlson would want to be Genghis Khan for a day. “Because he’s elite and a really great person, and I’d love to conquer all the places,” she said. Better watch out, Genghis!
Beatrice Chelo would want to be fellow sophomore “Viv, [Vivian Lonczack] because she has a good life, I don´t know.”
Jack Favata responded “Bridget Mendler— the it girl.” Bridget Mendler: entrepreneur, singer songwriter, and actress fit for someone as iconic and hardworking as Jack himself!
By far the weirdest answer I got, Arianna Podmore said “I would be a British person. I´d be a British person who lives in London so I could explore and that’s just my dream life I want to live in London.” Where´s the American spirit, Arianna?
The best and last answer came from William Nogueira, who said “I´d switch with (Mr.) Mulvehill and make up like 30 pop quizzes just for no reason, and only really obscure topics only Mulvehill would know like ‘What kind of oven do I have in my backyard?’” As someone taking Mr. Mulvehill’s class right now, this answer sounds less than appealing. It would be really funny, though!
