If you take a look around Ludlow High School, you’ll see that the most popular shoe brands are Adidas, Vans, Nike, and Converse.

Let’s start with Adidas, a company that has been around since the late 1940s. Their most popular models as of 2018 include BVG x Adidas originals EQT, Adidas NMD r1s, and Adidas superstars.

Vans have become the rage lately. This brand hit the market in the late 1960s. From the original checkered vans, to the plain versatile slip ons, to the colorful Vans era model, these shoes are everywhere.

Nike: Picture this, it’s the 1960s and the first pair of Nike shoes are worn. Throughout our school many brands such as Air Max, Air Jordan, and Nike Free, have been the trend lately. So many people are buying new Nike sneakers this holiday season

Converse: Originated from our very own state of Massachusetts in the early 1900s are very well-liked among students right now. The classic sneaker converse comes in many different colors and styles, lie high-tops and low-tops, they also have a classic look and many teens are attracted to this versatile shoe brand.

From interviewing these students, we’ve come the realization that these shoes are in fact very favored among young teens right now.
